Acceptance of terms
By creating an AlreadyBack account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
About AlreadyBack
AlreadyBack is a SaaS providing automated backups, granular restore, and business continuity failover for Airtable. We sell active resilience — not dead archives.
Acceptable use
- You must be authorized to connect the Airtable bases you back up.
- You must comply with Airtable's own Terms of Service.
- You must not reverse-engineer, overwhelm, probe, or attempt to bypass our security controls.
- You must not use the service to back up data you do not have the right to retain.
- You must not resell the service without a written reseller agreement.
Data restrictions
AlreadyBack is not designed for and must not be used to process:
- Protected health information (PHI) under HIPAA or comparable health laws.
- Personal data of children under 13 (COPPA, USA) or under 16 in the EU (GDPR, many member states).
- Biometric identifiers under BIPA (Illinois), TDPSA (Texas), or comparable regulations.
- Regulated financial data under GLBA, NYDFS Part 500, or comparable financial-sector regulations.
- Mental health data under the Washington My Health My Data Act or comparable.
If you upload such data, you (a) indemnify AlreadyBack against any resulting claims, (b) agree to immediate termination without refund, and (c) acknowledge that we may be compelled to notify relevant authorities.
Service levels
- Immunity plan: 99.9% monthly uptime commitment, with service credits for breaches.
- Resilience plan: best-effort availability, targeting 99.5%.
- Protection plan: best-effort availability.
Credit schedule: below 99.9% → 10% credit; below 99% → 25%; below 95% → 50%. Credit claims must be submitted within 30 days of the affected month.
Subscriptions and billing
- Trial: 14 days free, no credit card required.
- Extended trial: add a card to extend to 28 days total; no charge until day 28.
- Early adopter discount: -20% for life for the first 100 paying customers, auto-applied at conversion.
- Billing cycles: monthly or annual; annual billing receives a 10% discount.
- Renewal: automatic, unless you cancel before the next cycle.
- Refunds: pro-rated on annual downgrades; no refunds on monthly.
Data ownership
You own your data at all times. You remain the data controller (or data subject) for the data we process on your behalf. AlreadyBack is a processor. The relationship is governed by the DPA.
Termination
- By you:anytime, via the dashboard's Cancel subscription action.
- By us: on material breach (including violations of Data Restrictions above), non-payment after 14 days past due, or regulatory demand.
- On termination: your data is available for export for 30 days, then deleted per the DPA.
Limitation of liability
Our aggregate liability is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow this limitation; in those, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration in Cheyenne, Wyoming, administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. You waive any right to class action.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes get 30 days notice via email and an in-app banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
